Day 01: Arrive - Nairobi

You will be received at the airport by the Super Africa Wildlife Adventure Safaris designated representative after which you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay. Depending on your arrival time, you will be able to do optional excursions in the city.

Day 2: Nairobi - Lake Manyara National Park

After your breakfast you will depart Nairobi for Arusha. Our journey will take us across the border of Kenya into Tanzania where you will have a stop over for immigration procedures. Once you clear with the immigration you will continue with your drive arriving in the picturesque town of Arusha in time for lunch. After your lunch you will be transferred by Super Africa Wildlife Adventure Safaris driver to lake Manyara known for its famous Tree climbing lions. On arrival you will head for game drive in the park till late in the evening when you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will be picked by Super Africa Wildlife Adventure Safaris driver then drive to Serengeti national park. It is a world heritage site, the 7th worldwide wonder and the oldest national park in Tanzania. It is well known for its annual wildebeests of more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle that migrate in the months of May, June, July, October, November and December. You will have lunch en-route. On arrival, proceed for the afternoon game drive in the park. The park covers 12,944km2 of open plains making it one of the largest in the world. The rocky outcrops commonly known as Moru kopjes in the eastern part of the park are of scenic beauty and occasionally cats can be seen lazing on them. The park contains vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and other antelopes. Later you shall proceed to your lodge before dark in readiness for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4:  Serengeti National Park

After the breakfast you will proceed for the whole day game drive in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break in the mid afternoon. The term Serengeti means endless plains in Masai language. In the central plains there are carnivores like leopard, lion, hyena and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra that occurs between the Kenyan Mara and the Serengeti. About 35 species of plains animals can be seen here including the big 5 - Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo. Other common species found here includes hippo, giraffe, eland, impala and other antelope types, baboons, monkey and more. Over 500 species of birds can be seen here including eagles, ducks, geese, egrets, vultures, secretary birds, ibis, stork, herons, kites, pelicans, cranes and guinea fowl. Later you shall proceed back to your lodge before dark in readiness for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5:  Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

You will wake early for breakfast then transferred to Ngorongoro Crater with your packed lunch. Upon arrival you will descend into the Crater floor (19.2 km of diameter, 610m deep, 304 sq. km) which is home to an estimated 30,000 animals. Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, rhino, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. You will continue with your game drive in this wonderful caldera. Break for lunch at a picnic site within the crater. Later after lunch you will ascend to the top of the crater then transferred to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6:  Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast you will be picked by Super Africa Wildlife Adventure Safaris driver-guide. With packed lunch, you will be transferred to Tarangire National park for a full day game drive. Upon arrival you will start you will start your extensive game drive in this beautiful park. You will have lunch break followed by more game drives till later in the evening when you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Tarangire National Park with its huge baobab trees, the perennial Tarangire River and seasonal swamps is home to the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. Animals gather at the river and you should be able to see elephants, giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, dik-diks, waterbucks, warthogs and reedbucks all year round. Furthermore the park is also home to buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions.

Day 7: Tarangire National Park - Arusha - Zanzibar

You will have a relaxed breakfast after which you will leave for Arusha. On arrival in Arusha you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. You will be met at Zanzibar airport by Super Africa Wildlife Adventure Safaris representative who will transfer you to your beach resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Days  08 and 09: Zanzibar Island

The next few days are spent relaxing on the white sand beaches, swimming in the warm Indian Ocean and enjoying your luxury beach resort at leisure. The islands of the Zanzibar are famous for their idyllic tropical beaches.

After breakfast you may decide to engage yourself in optional activities within the island such as visit the spice plantations to smell, see and taste the brightly coloured and aromatic spices, such as turmeric, ginger, black pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon.

You can also take a boat ride to explore an exciting wide range of water sports activities including snorkeling, scuba diving, leisurely boat trips and more. Snorkeling and scuba diving are popular activities due to the rich marine life found in these clear waters.

Another interesting activity worth doing is Stone town tour where you will see historical site, slave market, daily market, narrow streets and later shopping. Later you will settle down for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Departure

After your breakfast and depending on your flight schedule as well as the departure time, it’s possible to do other optional events. Later you will be transferred to the Zanzibar Airport to take a flight back home. This will mark the end of your trip with Super Africa Wildlife Adventure Safaris Limited.
